The Padel Performance Team

Tore Deleuran Skjold

Tore has a deep understanding of both the technical and mental dimensions of padel and has worked with players at every level throughout his career. He always strives to create a training experience where development, enjoyment and engagement are at the centre.

With years of experience as both an elite player and coach, he helps clients reach their full potential on court. CONCEPTUAL

At Padel Performance, we believe conceptual understanding is the key to lasting development and intelligent padel. We train players to understand the game — not merely execute it. Through focused work on tactical awareness, positioning, patterns of play and decision-making, we develop players who can think independently, read opponents and choose the right solution under pressure. Understanding the situation you are in, knowing your available options, and making an active decision from there — that is the foundation for controlling the game and creating long-term development. It is this conceptual dimension that separates players who simply react from players who deliberately shape the dynamics of the game.

A KEY FACTOR

At Padel Performance, the mental dimension is an integrated part of all training. Mental resilience and composure are decisive when it truly matters. We work systematically with values-based behaviour, focus regulation and pressure management, so the player learns to stay calm, take ownership and maintain their game plan — even when emotions start to take over or the match shifts. Grounded in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Training), we develop mentally flexible athletes with self-awareness, presence and the ability to act — who can navigate adversity without losing direction. The goal is to develop players who can perform not only on good days, but who can also maintain their level and values under pressure — in training as well as in competition.

IS THE PHYSICAL

IS THE KEY

At Padel Performance, we see the physical dimension as the foundation for all development on court. Without a strong physical base, even the best tactical and technical skills become difficult to sustain when the match demands it. We work purposefully with movement quality, agility, endurance and strength — adapted to the specific demands of padel: rapid changes of direction, explosive movements and the ability to maintain your level across long matches. At the same time, injury prevention is an integrated part of our physical work, because long-term development requires a body that can handle the load. The goal is to build a physical foundation that enables the player to execute their decisions precisely and consistently — even in the third set, even under pressure.
